How to set up Doppler Relay in Microsoft Outlook 2016
You can send transactional emails through your Microsoft Outlook account, learn here step by step how to configure it so you can have metrics and reports for your sendings and know at real-time the status of each sending.
First you must access your SMTP credentials. The email client will ask us the following four basic data to be able to configure the Doppler Relay account:
- SMTP Server -> SMTP Host
- Port Connection -> SMTP Port
- User -> User SMTP
- Password -> SMTP Password
Setting up Outlook on Mac
Now that you have the SMTP access from your account, it is time to get into your Microsoft Outlook account.
Step 1
Within the Outlook application look for the option called ¨Preferences¨.

Once there at Outlook Preferences click on “Account”.

Now click on the “Other email” option

Now it’s time to include the SMTP access you obtained earlier.
- Email Address >>> SMTP User
- Password >>> SMTP Password
- Outgoing server >>> SMTP Host
- Active the Override default port option
- Enter Port 587
- Check Use SSL to connect option (Recommended)
- Click on Add Account

In this screen you can configure more advanced aspects of your account, such as:
From Name >>> Sender’s Name
E-mail Address >>> Sender’s Email

Perform a test send to see if you have successfully configured the SMTP and check the Relay Doppler dashboard if the test was delivered.
